Semi-Permanent Makeup or SPMU treatment cannot be done whilst pregnant, breastfeeding or during your period.

No alcohol, caffeine, drug and medicines containing blood thinning ingredients 48 hours before the procedure.

Stop using Retinol or any anti-aging treatments for at least 7 days prior to your appointment.

If you’re having brows done, make sure they are not tinted as this makes it harder for our technician to see your natural eyebrow shape and volume.

You should not have Microblading 3 weeks prior or until 3 weeks after your Botox procedure.

If you are on any medications or have any allergies, please check with your doctor before your initial consultation to ensure that the procedure is safe for you.

It is recommended to exfoliate and moisturize the eyebrows at home 2-3 days before the treatment day. This will help to soften the skin and help the colour penetrate into the skin easily.
YOUR QUESTIONS
Microblading is a 2 step process, requiring both the initial and follow up session to achieve optimal results. After your first microblading session, your eyebrows will appear darker and slightly thicker. This will gradually fade during the 4-week healing process leading up to your second appointment.
The decision to try a semi-permanent tattoo or Microblading is one of the biggest beauty choices for many people. Our priority is to answer all your questions and provide you with all the information about the process to ensure you feel 100% comfortable with your decision.
Our consultations are half an hour long and complimentary. We check your skin type and ask you a few questions about your health to ensure that you are a candidate for treatment. We also draw on a preliminary brow shape which you can then examine and we can adjust accordingly.
Microblading can be performed on all skin tones, but some skin conditions may not be suitable. If you have acne-prone skin or seborrheic dermatitis, these should be treated beforehand. We can address these issues with separate treatments prior to your microblading session.
You will have two appointments: the initial session includes a consultation and the first application. The second session, scheduled at least 4 weeks later, refines and fine-tunes the results, ensuring your skin and pigments have healed properly.
A touch-up session will be required 4-6 weeks after your first session. This is vital to ensuring the health of your brows. Due to the skin generation process we need to check how your brows have healed and the pigment retention on your skin. It is completely normal that some “hair” has faded, so we will fill those spots and ensure your brows are perfect. The time for this appointment can vary with each client but in most cases, it can be around half the time of your first microblading session.
A topical anesthetic is applied to your skin before and throughout your procedure to keep you comfortable. Most clients describe the feeling as “irritating” rather than painful. We've actually had a few clients fall asleep during their procedure! Some clients’ skin is more sensitive than others and may need to be numbed for a bit longer. In our experience, any discomfort can be easily alleviated by leaving anesthetic on the skin for a few extra minutes.
Microblading is a form of cosmetic tattooing. While the results are permanent, they can fade over time. We offer touch-up treatments to maintain your desired look or address any fading or additional hair thinning.
