Microblading Consultation
The decision to try a semi-permanent tattoo or Microblading is one of the biggest beauty choices for many people. Our priority is to answer all your questions and provide you with all the information about the process to ensure you feel 100% comfortable with your decision. Our consultations are half an hour long and completely free of charge. We would love to hear about your expectations, following that we will check your skin type and ask you a few questions about your health to ensure that you are a candidate for treatment. We will also draw on a preliminary brow shape which you can examine and adjust accordingly.

My goal with microblading is to give you an incredibly natural and realistic look. Before you book, please make sure you have read through the FAQ and Pre-Care section entirely and book for your complimentary consultation. *Please note if you have previous permanent makeup, email me a photo of your brows before booking to ensure you are a candidate for this process. Note that the duration of each service varies depending on skin type.

2nd Session Follow-Up
4-6 weeks after your first session a touch-up/follow-up session is necessary. This is due to the skin generation process where we need to check how your brows healed and the pigment retention on your skin. It is completely normal that some "hair” has faded, where we have to fill those spots and ensure your brows are perfect. The time for this appointment can vary for each client but in most cases it can be half of the time of your first microblading session.

Semi-Permanent Makeup or SPMU treatment cannot be done whilst pregnant, breastfeeding or during your period.

No alcohol, caffeine, drug and medicines containing blood thinning ingredients 48 hours before the procedure.

Stop using Retinol or any anti-aging treatments for at least 7 days prior to your appointment.

If you’re having brows done, make sure they are not tinted as this makes it harder for our technician to see your natural eyebrow shape and volume.

You should not have Microblading 3 weeks prior or until 3 weeks after your Botox procedure.

If you are on any medications or have any allergies, please check with your doctor before your initial consultation to ensure that the procedure is safe for you.

It is recommended to exfoliate and moisturize the eyebrows at home 2-3 days before the treatment day. This will help to soften the skin and help the colour penetrate into the skin easily.
AFTERCARE
IN THE FIRST 24 HOURS

Clean the treatment area with warm water by using cotton pads, then apply a very thin layer of Skin Candy (pawpaw cream, vaseline).

Repeat this 3-5 times within the first 24 hours to prevent scab formation.

Avoid alcohol, coffee, green tea or any caffeinated drinks 48 hrs after the procedure.
AFTER 24 HOURS

Keep the area dry but continue to apply the Skin Candy 3-5 times a day until the has skin peeled off naturally. This takes about 7 days.
IN THE NEXT 7 DAYS

The healing process takes 3-7 days and is different with each client. During this time please make sure that you:

Apply Skin Candy 3-5 times a day.

Do not wear makeup on the treatment area, keep it dry.

Avoid getting the treatment area wet in the shower. This can be achieved by covering the treatment area with a thin layer of vaseline and applying plastic wrap.

The treatment area may appear uneven, dry, itchy, tender, red or irritated. This is normal. These symptoms will dissipate each day and vary on an individual basis. DO NOT pick or peel the skin off.

After all the skin has peeled off naturally, the brows may look much lighter. However by now the pigment will have settled underneath the skin. It then takes 28 days to resurface. We can only see the true colour at around the 4 week mark. That is when the touch up is needed to complete the treatment.

Avoid swimming at the beach or pool, sunbathing, tanning, saunas, other beauty treatments, intensive training accompanied by sweating (sport activities) and contact with dust.
IN THE FIRST 30 DAYS

Avoid laser treatment over the treated area (Fraxel laser, IPL), because they can destroy the pigment and cause burns.

The use of antibiotics and hormonal therapy may lead to faster fading of the brows. Please consult with your medical professional.

Always protect the treatment area from the sun.

The healed colour will fade around 20%-40% compared to your initial treatment. The microblading strokes will shrink down about 5% to 10% after 4 to 6 weeks. The touch up is then necessary to perfect the treatment.
